The brief was to provide Orchid with a new identity which better reflects the quality of exquisite, eastern inspired furniture and reposition them at the upper end of the furniture market. We crafted a distinctive brand look evoking a sense of sophisticated luxury. The Orchid logo, inspired by the cursive script of Chinese calligraphy, incorporates a feeling of inky abundance whilst the accompanying King’s Garden motif is used sparingly, partially concealed as if it were the lining of an expensive suit.
The resulting identity and brand applications, including, brochure, stationery, and shop front design have raised Orchid’s profile enabling them to successfully appeal to their target demographic. A new e-newsletter has made a huge impact on site traffic, considerably increasing online conversion.
